Professor Noh’s research on technology and interaction design for health and environmental behavior change has earned him numerous academic accolades, including awards from the Korean Broadcasting Association. His books, Social Media and Cooperative Society and Competition in the Broadcasting Industry, were also honored as Outstanding Academic Books by the Ministry of Culture. 


Over the past 20 years, he has led more than 32 research projects and published over 130 academic papers, including 26 in SSCI international journals and 11 in SCOPUS journals. He has authored 11 academic books, including Health and Communication. His work has appeared in leading international journals such as Information, Communication & Society and Computers in Human Behavior, both ranked in the top 3% globally, as well as in prestigious journals like Journal of Health Communication, Health Communication, Journal of Risk Research, and International Journal of Human-Computer Studies. Since 2017, Professor Noh has served as the editor-in-chief of Health and New Media Research, an international journal. His contributions to the field of information and communication have been recognized with the Presidential Citation, and he was appointed as Hallym University’s Distinguished Professor.
